I just got hit with a large tax bill so I've just upgraded the RAM and things are working pretty well so I'll leave it at that until next year. I'm getting 60 FPS on average. The new fridge was more important to ensure my long term survival.... Thanks for the advice and I'll bear it all in mind for the future.

Sounds like you have a good compromise though, 60fps is what most people aim for. And well done on ensuring your long term survival - no point in having a kick-ass pc if you're buried in the back garden...

You got that right.... I'd never hear the end of it...

There is a teeny bit of lag sometimes but it's mostly on the runway so I can live with that.
