Post by Thaine » Tue Nov 29, 2016 9:01 am

Thought to start a topic for sharing and discussing all kind of science stuff. Philosophy of science is allowed as well.

First topic, your gateway into the world of imaginary numbers

Fun fact: Germany had Gauss and the Gaussian bell on it's 10 mark bill, I liked that.

This is a good idea!
Some people may have seen this, it is a few years old now. But it is such a marvelous representation of what really goes on in a cell its worth pointing out:
"The inner life of a Cell"

As you watch, think about all the PhD and postdoc students involved in every few seconds of footage, including people I know...

I had been telling Hitler for over a year, since my first flight in an Me-262, that only Focke Wulf Fw-190 fighter production should continue in conventional aircraft, to discontinue the Me-109, which was outdated, and to focus on building a massive jet-fighter force. - Galland
Any idiot could fly a Spitfire, but it took a lot of training to fly a 109. - Gerald Stapleton
