The rise of the machines has begun....

Post by BlackDog » Fri Mar 23, 2018 12:19 pm

:D

First Terminator kill was recorded on camera...

Shows there is a little way to go for Driverless cars on our roads, but what was that pedestrian thinking.... just highlights how basic rules taught to children (Stop, look and look again) are no longer being observed even by fully grown adults. Sadly I am not sure if this woman simply assumed the car would stop for her i.e. 'It's my right to cross you will stop' or whether she simply didn't see the UBER, but damn.... that car was taking no prisoners... not even a hint of brakes!

:salute:

Fuck driverless cars. If they crash half as often as my PC it'll be twice too often. Perfect target for hackers and Friday afternoon coders. I want to be the only idiot behind my wheel, and I don't want a google-foo computer deciding that my life is worth less than the two idiot kids who're playing chicken in my wheel-line, forcing me into a tree. Coz that's going to be the new pass-time for bored kids - "let's make the car stop!". Mark my old, decrepit and cynical words.

Up the Luddites <takes hands off the wheel to fist punch the air>

At least there won't be any safety issues, because it won't even start.
