What's up with the other sites?

The UI is doo doo, they force downloading the picture, they make it hard to watch the picture in full res and all kinds of things. Imgur lowers the quality a little bit but I don't think it's that big of a drawback. And Photobucket (photofuckit) makes me want to walk into a propeller.
