Saying "Hello"

Post by Crane » Wed Nov 14, 2018 8:56 pm

Dear all,

After flying twice with you guys (last Sunday and the Sunday before), and having a chat with Coops and Thaine, I’ve decided to put my application in to join up!

I’m 35, live in Switzerland, have English relatives, two small kids and work in the Medtec industry.

I’ve known 9./JG26_Today thru my old staffel II./JG77 and since there aren’t any organized events going on lately over there, asked him how he likes ACG. And he convinced me to give you guys a try.

I was very impressed by how immersive and exciting well-organized sorties in large groups are – you guys got me hooked.

So, I’m hoping to improve my skills in flying as a team member and that I don’t discharge to many virtual characters by doing so. And I'm looking forward to making friends and having a good laugh along the way.

If possible I would like to get a tail number in 9./JG26, as both previous sorties where with them.

Sincerely,
Daniel

Hi crane and welcome.

As far as im aware at the moment you'll be more than likely assigned to VVS but its not impossible that you could get into lufwaffe.

Welcome Crane I am sure any squadron would be lucky to have you and you will fit right in to acg.

If the Russians insist on having another terrible pilot who can't shoot straight or navigate (they currently hold a monopoly on these) then we might have to wait until the balance swings the other way but I do hope that you will be able to fly with us in the near future.

Welcome!

Another one from II./JG77, I've been flying there too, like 2 years ago or so.
Welcome Crane.
