Hi everyone,

I ended up here after watching a few vids by bounder on Youtube, that are pretty good to say the least.
So my name's Othman im 37 years old from France.. I flew on IL2 back in 2001 when it came out, and stoped right before the release of Bob around 2006 if i recall right.. Otherwise i had all the releases stand-alones that came out during that period of time.

Now im trying to get back to it since the passion's never really left me, i've always been thinking i had to fly again, so i managed to do it now , just gathering some controllers to have a better flying experience, but im far from having a cockpit build and whatnot (i'll put my specs soon) , i have a Microsoft sidewinder FF2, the same one i had back in the days that had never disappointed me.., i also bought a Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant and awaiting for a saitek pro rudder, the only thing is still missing is the track IR.. by the way, if someone is selling his IR 4, drop me a line..

Well that's it i think for now , im finishing the patch 4 installation right now and i'll be willing to shoot up CoD just to have a glance.. can't wait or my rudder ! it shoud've been here 2 or 3 days ago already but still nada..

By the way , can we control the view with a mouse on Cod ?

and what software do you use to voice chat and fly on missions ? the last one i used was TS2..

Well there you have it , i'll be glad to get back into a squadron, if you accept enrollments of course, and have some of those great moments flying like i used to !

Teamspeak 3 is what you will need for comms and all the info is on the website for the t/s server details. Have a chat with the CO he will sort you out.

As for head tracking, why not use Freetrack? I lot of guys use it
