Hi
I have just recently started out in the IL2-sim and learning the basics after transitioning from the 1946-sim. I have flown only a handful of online missions on the finnish server and either got torn apart or drained my fuel tank without seeing any enemies.
I love the idea of flying historical and immersive mission together with a bunch of like-minded, so if there is group or squad willing to ad one more fly-boy to their rooster; I will return hearty thanks and a snappy salute.

Welcome Gomer good to have you with us.
Re: New Cadet ready to earn my wings
Welcome Gomer... Thank you for your interest.
Spigot is our recruiting officer, he will reach out to you and get you started on the joining process. In the meantime, as Ginger states, look over our field book. You'll learn the forum rules, regulations and secret handshake later. Also join us for our training session tomorrow around 1700 GMT and hop onto our TS server at nyj-ts3.fragnet.net.

Re: New Cadet ready to earn my wings
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
I would love joining the trainings sessions, only only on thursdays I would rarely be available. And if so it would be with very short notice. If there are other days with training I would have a better chance at attending regularly.
Snappy salute

Thursday is when most units train, though it's not compulsory by any means - once a member the only commitment we require is the Sunday campaign missions. If you can hop on over the next few days you'll find someone around to chat.
