Hello!

Post by Adam1220 » Wed Aug 05, 2015 8:50 pm

Hello!
I have just signed up for this group after being amazed by the 'Beginning of the End' video. I would like to fly Royal Air Force Hawker Hurricanes, Fleet Air Arm Supermarine Seafires or Fairey Fireflys. I do not have much experience on IL2 Cliffs of Dover however I fly a Diamond Aircraft DA42 in real life (G-VLTT if anyone is interested) I have briefly joined the teamspeak server and been politely greeted. I may need training.

Wotcha Adam,

I was one of the chaps loitering in the background when you came up on team speak, glad you made it to the forum. I guess if you are flying for real you will not need much training (unlike some of us) but I would still recommend you get yourself checked out by one of the "intsructors" via the link Bully posted. They are great fellows and will get you set on the path to acedom. Also Mauf has a flying exercise which is real fun, and which one day I will manage complete.

I love it when the Hurricane squadrons get new pilots. More potential targets :D

Yeah but funny how so many of your losses are to Hurricanes, not that you admit that

Welcome Adam.

Fantastic choice on flying the Hurricane. A fine machine!

Welcome to ACG Adam... glad you liked the BoftE and are fellow fan of the incredible fighting machine that is the Hurricane! Of course, if you are considering which Squadron to join I should also add that the best one in the RAF is No.501.

Look forward to seeing you in the blue.

Welcome to the ACG, Adam, and it has been good to speak with you on TS.

No. 111 (Fighter) Squadron can provide all the training you require and you will be warmly welcomed to fly with us.

See you in the air. :nice:
