I've been teaching myself the E-3 since it lacks Pitch automation. Whew. That's a thing. These vids are very helpful and asking any of these fine gents also super helpful.

Well I managed to get involved this Sunday with the great guys at No.615, and after throwing some shapes and manoeuvres to evade a string of diving 109's I was eventually blown out of the sky! Great fun and just what I expected for my debut as a rookie in the Battle of Britain.

I'd like to try this coming Sunday to fly with the Lufwaffe or in a Spitfire squadron to get a feel from all perspectives, I did thoroughly enjoy the banter between the Hurricane lads and their opinions on our Spitfire counterparts during takeoff this Sunday! Zero crashes unfortunately from our buddies.

I'll try catch someone on teamspeak for some 109 training this week if possible, need to get to grips with the "Enemy" one way or another!

Cheers again No.615! Watch this space, I may return ;)

615 is always a great time! Glad you flew with us and it makes me even more sorry I wasn't there.

"I'll give it a 9.5 out of ten, Kev."

Post in the training thread to get set up with some 109 training, or just take pot luck in Teamspeak.

May today be better than yesterday, but, not as good as tomorrow.
