I think Dickie means the your stick and the stick in the cockpit Vranac. No idea if it is just a graphical glitch but I certainly have the input lag too, and always have done in Cliffs.

No Archie, I think that Dickie wanted this recorded.
Re: Progress report: "falling feels like flying... for a little while"
Like Vranac I don't think I've ever had any lag like that in the game.
Re: Progress report: "falling feels like flying... for a little while"
maybe Dickie could show us his 'lag', like Vranac did, so we can see how bad it is?......@ Von Archie, seeing the stick in cockpit or flaps is basically the same thing. looks basically imperceptible on Vranac's vid. i did mine, (didn't record it, but did the 'test')with cockpit stick and flaps, i can't see any 'lag', either....

Weird, my stick in cockpit has always been very jerky, and that's since the day it came out and over three different computers, including the one currently in my sig.I always put it down to just a graphics glitch in Cliffs.

I don't have a vid to show you fellas, but the lag I have is quite noticeable... like 3/4 to a full second. What I see in Vranac's vid is hardly noticeable compared to mine. So the way I figure it, I have a 3 second delay.... 1 to move the stick, 2 for the the stick to actually move in game, and 3 to make corrections. It makes for some pretty sloppy flying fellas.
My guess is that my old crappy PC is the biggest culprit, and the monitor is shit too. So as I upgrade, hopefully there will be a big improvement. In the meantime, I'm actually making successful takeoffs most of the time (albeit very sloppy) , and I haven't got killed on a landing in a while. Most of my landings are actually on the wheels now. The rest of my "flying" is pretty sloppy too as you can imagine. Every time I study my instruments in the cockpit, I look up and I'm all over the place. My aerobatics are more like a guy falling down the basement stairs. I need a lot of altitude to recover from my tumbling and disorientation. I definitely need training.
My plan is to continue practicing with CoD, then buy the BoX when I get the new PC.... hopefully by August (after I return from my summer vacation).

That video Vranac is the same lag as I have. Are you saying that you don't have that? I'd like to see it.
