The LuftAsher appreciation thread

Post by Woop » Mon Oct 07, 2019 9:54 am

Join me in thanking Luft for the excellent work on keeping ACG going through BoX and completing the campaign without going mad. It has been a monumental task which he has knocked out of the park with the quality of work that has been put in by him and the BoX Team.

So thanks Luft, and thanks BoX Team.

I posted in his goodbye thread but it means no less by posting twice:

Luft,

ACG owes you a huge debt of gratitude. It is not an exaggeration to say that if you had not taken the reins when you did ACG would most probably have fragmented or collapsed. You showed true leadership in a turbulent period and I know it weighed heavy on your shoulders at times. I believe the storm has passed and we are a different and stronger organisation now and in a large part to your hard graft, perseverance and genuine passion to make it work.

I salute you. Good luck in your job and the lower pressure world of real-life. As has been said above, don’t be a stranger. Come back and enjoy the fruits of your labours as soon as you feel ready. We will miss you.

I cannot overstate the importance of your role over the last year, thank you for your efforts.

I salute Luft’ once again but having got his own goodbye thread, I would rather this thread takes hats off to the team;

Researchers
Planners
Mission Builders
Organisers
Administrators
Cryers
Laughers
Madmen
& the man they call Luftasher

If we could update with a roll call, now that would be Kudos and deserved recognition.
Cheers,

I have to echo what Malt said, and I know from experience the amount of pressure that you were under. Your effort has definitely not gone unnoticed by me.

I also endorse the input from Maltloaf. There's not much more I could add except it has been a pleasure to work with you and to wish you well in your new employment. You will be missed. :B:
