Mission 7 (Sun 25/11/12)
Duration: 60 Minutes
Home Airfield: RAF Kenley
Aircraft: SH-K Spitfire MkIIa

Took off at Kenley as Pink 3, climbing quickly to the mission area. After a little bit of heading back and forth, we were engaged by 109s, at which point i lost sight of my wingman ( he lost sight of me aswell ). Unable to acquire visual on neither red or pink section, i decided to engage what seemed to be a lonely 109 heading south towards france. Latching onto its six, i managed to score multiple hits, leaving it leaking fuel. However, as always i focussed to much on my target upfront and forgetting about my six. I received multiple hits, instantly taking out my governor, reducing effective rpms down to 2400.
I decided to disengage and vectored for Shoreham, where i landed.

Claims: 1 109 damaged
Pilot: OK
Plane: SH-K damage to governor.
