All good and firm landings. As they should be on ice and contaminated runways. Get the wheels firm on the ground to have good brake effect and enough space to decelerate.

Outstanding and professional airmenship from all members, old and new, of KG3. Good planning, good navigation, good flying, good decision making and good communication. Mission objectives achieved and all crews and aircraft home without a scratch.

The Führer will be happy.

Fight on and fly on to the last drop of blood and the last drop of fuel - to the last beat of the heart.

I think the landings were all good landings. The heavier aircraft tend to bounce a little and it always looks more bouncy on the external view.

Without going into detail, 220 kph and 12 m/s second descent rate on final in a Ju-88 is anything but ok. How are you supposed to hold your speed into final properly if you're descending at such high angle that the plane is accelerating on idle power with flaps down?

It would be much easier for you if you decided to land with bigger intervals rather than going for a formation landing, at least you wouldn't have to worry about messing it up for others, and if you find yourself too fast in finals you can just correct it instead of being forced to ride a bad approach til the end because there's other planes around you.

EDIT:

So it's not like I'm talking mad shit and can't back it up, here's my attempt at landing the Ju-88.
I don't have any experience with it, but I decided to put it down similarly to how I used to land the DC-3 in X-Plane.
Initial about 10km away from the runway, all lined up at about 1000 meters.
Seeing how the Ju-88 stalls down at about 150kph, I tried to hold about 180kph through final at about 3-5 m/s descent rate. Over the threshold, I went idle on power and flared. Even though I overshot the treshhold by quite a bit I managed to still stop her about 2/3s down the runway:

Onebad, I think your first post was quite... bad. It's a example of unspecific criticism that doesn't help anyone and causes misunderstandings. What I interpreted out of the Ryanair reference was "your landing was cheap / low tier / or just shit". Reading your second post I understand that you actually ment that they were to closely staggered and decend rate was too high - which is an okay criticism that someone can actually do something with.

I take the point about the steepness of descent and think flatter is always better with heavier aircraft.
