well, it's more manoeuvrable than the K-4, slower, yes, but I can regularly out-turn a Mustang in it. It can also climb away from any of the new allied planes. So it is definitely still a force to be reckoned with. And since the Allies regularly fly too low, not getting the top performance out of their airplanes, the German planes still are all competitive foes.
In the 109s, you just have to get the enemy to turn with you in a low speed turn and you will hugely outperform them in this scenario, because then their precious G-suits don't help them a bit anymore.
