Out-fucking-standing
Just finished watching the whole thing and I can't believe how well that all came together. A fantastic piece of work Thaine, you should feel very proud.
It was pretty painful watching myself get torn apart by the Luftwaffe's pack of hounds, but thank you for making it look like I at least put up a bit of a fight And to all the other pilots involved, great stuff gentlemen.
Favourite moment - "Yeah, 501 Are still at Biggin. They'll be talking about flap settings."

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.
Re: Flying with ACG
Congratulations on your movie Thaine. Good work on showing the different perspectives in chronological order. Good choice also on many of the soundbites. They tell the story by themselves. That engagement near Eastchurch was very exciting to watch, helped also by the way you made the buildup and epilogue. Well done.

Bravo
Just watched it and it's a fantastic 'docu-drama' (as they call such things on the BBC). First rate production.
My only gripe is your failure to feed my massive ego by not including that flaminero I got in
I shall popp it onto the website and other places pronto

Incredible work, Thaine. Really fantastic effort all round. It's got me thinking about climbing back into a Spitfire again.
