Lest We Forget - An ACG Flypast

Post by Bonkin » Thu Sep 15, 2016 11:18 pm

Gentlemen it gives me great pleasure to present our ACG Commemorative Flypast video. It has been nearly a year since we recorded this event so please accept my apologies for it taking so long – I’ve had a very busy year.

Today is September 15th – Battle of Britain day. It seemed sensible to release it on this date and even though I could keep tinkering with it to make improvements on it, I’ve run out of time. I hope you enjoy it as it is.

A big thank you to all who participated and helped. I salute you all :salute: .

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.

I probably wouldn't be here if it hadn't been for you. It was your creation, "The Beginning of the End" which brought me to the group. Even as a novice, oft-dead pilot I'm having a great time, because it's the community that's the thing and this is a great one.

Thank you, Bonks.

Beautiful! I'm honored I could be part of that. I'm glad the voyage called ACG continues. Great job, all you Hurri, Spit, Blennie, 109 and Zerstorer drivers! Great job putting it all together, Bonkin!
