Playback question

Post by Tex » Tue Jun 05, 2018 5:07 am

I tried to record the last mission through the in game button. I recorded a file but cannot seem to view it. I tried opening it in the Blitz menu but all I get is a water-like screen with flat horizon. I seem to recall that there is some trick to getting the playback to work but could not find it online. Does anyone know how to fix this?

tried that but still just get a screen with blue horizon. i can hear the playback running in the background and see the text alerts about inputs, i.e. setting gunsite.

That's weird. try fast forwarding it using ] key.....I normally start my tracks on the ground and have the same, but F1 usualy goes right to track with no problems...weird

Is your "Inside view" on the Controls - Views menu still mapped to the F1 key?

The campaign missions normally have external views disabled, but when they are not you can get a host of different perspectives on the track replay from the keys in that section.

Tex, i found that if you check the 'edit views' box before you start the track, then start track and if it is still the blue 'horizon' screen, go back and uncheck the edit views, it will then play. play around checking and unchecking the edit views tab.

I’ll give that a try. Have to check and see if it was you who shot me up.
