Re: The Storm After The Storm Campaign Battle of Britain
My experience of Battle of Britain mission 54, 'The Storm After The Storm'. Come for the eye-spy, stay for the friendly fire and the swears. Somewhere in the middle there is a bit of dogfighting (though this time it's really more like fox hunting, with me as the fox). Anyway, it's mostly rubbish but I think the ending makes up for it
I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.

Nice to see, that the Spitfire boys will take good care of you. So, we can turn our attention eastwards in the future...Broadsword wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 12:47 am

That first engagement you had elements of 5th over Gravesend and others... definitely recognised a few passes.
It would appear a Spitfire pilot has managed to evade the eyesight colour test somehow I know you chaps are short of pilots, but deary me.... Grey is not brown!
