Kildren, I don't understand why this is a bad idea, so please explain (though I guess I could research it here on the forum). I'm testing this tweak right now on TS. I believe I only have it set up to announce who joins or leaves the channel I'm in. I found I had to disable the notification for whomever joins or leaves the server. So far it's been peaceful, but i'm waiting. Understand that all I wanted was to get beyond " a friend joined the channel", and this after Lee's gentle admonishment against the " user joined the channel". So I searched and found the video tutorial. It seemed what I was looking for. Now I can greet by name instead of saying "hello friend", and waiting for the person to identify himself/herself. 15 minutes and so far, so good. :angel:
