FMB Tutorial Videos

Discussion regarding mapping and missions in here - we are talking FMB chaps. Perhaps you are building a mission for the server or for campaign? Talk to the experts - we always need people willing to muck in so don't be shy!

Oh you will love that!

In that case you can prolly find out how that triad works which appears for AI ground objects - I've never understood it. Park a train/tank column then hit return to view it and you'll see what I mean.

OK, do you know how to select and deselect a group of objects? Useful for moving them and for deleting great swathes of them at once. Use LAlt+l mouse lasso to grab, LAlt+r mouse lasso to release. Once you grab make sure you release afterwards. This is something Oleg nicked from the 1946 mods to the FMB tool, I think it was a Zuti mod.

Finally, you don't need to create a spawn and spawn in to run a mission. Just 'Play Mission' from the menu and it will auto place you on the #1 AI. You can use time compress as normal.

Just an update on this.

I still need to amend the Flak placement video and create one more which will show placing and moving static buildings and ground units, been busy with other projects but once I have these done (hopefully this week) then I will start getting them onto the ACG Youtube channel.

Now a web page.

When you are happy with the videos lets put them into the ACG site and I'll edit the website page too.

I have now deleted the original 'Flak Guns on Ships' video and uploaded a new one which contains the exact height to sit on the platform and also explains the 3D view.

The OP has been amended but it has mucked up the flight school section, can we add the amended video to flight school section and also add the ground object video I did as well?

Now these are done, how do we have this on the ACG Youtube page?, do you want me to upload each one or can they be linked to the ones uploaded already?

All I need to do is edit the codes in the web source file and upload it, so I think putting them on ACG and then listing the codes is good enough from your side, then I'll make the edits for the website.

Bravo :)
