Having looked at this, the custom spawns are fine. What happens is if the spawns are taken, say for example by aircraft not despawning them, then the game will just spawn you in on the field somewhere else. so that could've happened. Where you in line with the runway, facing it? To test this your whole crew are going to be needed for spawn point testing, this weekend.

As for these tests, it would be a better idea to create a little separate map to run during tests and training so that Tobruk field is a bit less congested. We have hardly had any time to fly as a squadron, as the area is constantly full of enemy and friendly etc. (at least make it so that squadrons stationed at Tobruk, can also spawn elsewhere with the same aircraft so that they can train).
I could add another spawn but this isn't really meant to be public, other crews should just piss off elsewhere, if not go and shout at them. From this Thursday it'll be a general order that strafing aircraft is banned.
I don't want to spoil the map with other spawns since this is a mission file and base test.
