The same way they've always viewed it. Free money and free goodwill.
By the time it's ready to release it'll have done it's job, distracted TF from putting out a meaningful product, hamstrung them with contractual requirements and gained a load of converts to BoX as well as some free cash they've had to do nothing for.
And let's face it, they did nothing over people being threatened with legal action and hacking allegations except possibly a stern word behind the scenes so they're not going to do anything to interrupt the cash cow. Not till it poses a real threat and by that time they will be able to claim it's unviable commercially.
I said it at the time. It's a masterstroke by Jason.
