Just curious if anyone other than me gets irritated with TAW limitations? Is it me or some of the TAW restrictions a bit much? I got home after working all day and part of the night and wanted to fly a sortie or two and do my part for my beloved Axis side and couldn't for a long time because of an "Overlimit". Last night there were 36 people on or so with Axis outnumbering Allies 24 to 12. I dont understand why people who want to fly are punished because of numbers. It is no wonder Allies win most of the time. If teams are outnumbered, then so be it. That is the way the cookie crumbles! It's not like the AA is handicapped or not a threat.

I am totally fine with pilot lives and aircraft restrictions, but hope they remove that "Overlimit" restriction for the next campaign or at least limit the aircraft availability to transport duties until the other side wakes up to fight...( yes, im talking about sleepy European pilots...lol.) and vice versa.

I appreciate the work TAW mission makers put into the campaign, and the fun it provides, but just like a couple years ago, when you had to warm up your planes for 10 to 15 minutes in winter before u could take off, the overlimit restriction in servers that are less than half full should be looked at or modified.

I was not aware of this overlimit implementation. I am not in agreement with it either.

It's a hard balance to strike. 2 TAWs back I spent 3 days or so in a row flying with 10 or less VVS against up to about 50 LW. Personally I think that's more annoying than sometimes finding your side full, but neither situation is ideal

I agree, but my point is no side should be punished because people in Europe are sleeping. I think it is even more challenging being undermanned because it forces you to pick a different role to fly like Cargo missions, or bombers from airfields away from obvious hot points.

We had interesting duels at TAW today :) First we fly in 4 flight of BF-109 F-2 and we saw some group of 5x Peshkas formation close to enemy airfield + one escort fighter. We decide to wait and attack. Two of us attacked escort plane and second pair attacked a Pe-2.

Great fight guys! That was a first meet with ACG ;)

Another was one of the best flyight in my history at TAW. We took of with 4x BF-110 armed with 2x 500kg bombs (with beatifull night camo!). We attacked a fortified posiotion and so there was a fierce fight for life also with you guys :) We took of with 8 engines but we back only with six :P It was incredibly dramatic!

Sure was a good couple of fights we had there :nice:

We get to have that fun every week on our campaign missions. We're currently on a break to prepare for the last phase of the Moscow Campaign, but will resume on Sunday 1st September. If you are not part of an organised squad or group, (we don't want to steal other groups' members) you are very welcome to join us and try it out.

Hi Alienzo, I quite enjoyed the scrap we had in the dark. Well done getting her home on one engine - your mate was a goner had I any more cannon ammo left. :salute:

Here's an Idea. Rather than doing training on our own server on Thursdays Why don't those who are available band together and raid the TAW server. It's perfect for training as it has the campaign mission tension every time you take off. Just a thought. :salute:

Only one issue with that is the server is always full or nearly full.
