First I would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year, I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays,
Now for this fun mission.
It will be called the Battle for Caen and this will be a combined arms mission so Aircraft and Tanks.
The scenario
The allies have landed on the beach's of Normandy and they need to take Caen as quick as possible
But in there way is the 12th Panzer Division who will defend the town to the last man.
There is also the Luftwaffe who will try to protect the German units around Caen and will also try to disrupt the allies landings.
Allied Tasks
- Protect the landing areas
- Attack the German positions on the approaches to the city and clear a way for the 185th brigade of the 3rd British infantry division to take Caen
- Tanks to take Caen but be careful on the approaches as the enemy will try to stop you in your tracks
- Protect Caen and the German units
- Attack and disrupt the allied landing as much as possible
- Tanks stop the enemy from breaking through our lines
The Spawn points
We need Tanker for both sides 5 to 6 each if possible.
You can take any aircraft on offer and fly whatever side you wish.
Re-spawns only with other players.
We plan to run this mission on Monday the 2nd from 1830hrs.
