I really like BoS. In particular, I enjoy flying the more underpowered aircraft online. In a world of G-2's and other such uber aircraft, you'll most often find me flying things like the P-40E and the 109 E-7. Here's a collection of screenshots from some of my adventures:

Image
Buzzing around defending a factory from German bombers, I run into 4th Staffel alumni Maple who falls into formation with me.

Image
We attempted a formation landing, it didn't go so well. To celebrate our ineptitude we decided to have a flare gun fight.

Image
Ran into a spot of trouble near the same factory and had to bail out. Maple flew past me in his 110.

Image
A 109 G-2 I flamed. This must be what beating an E-4/N in a Hurricane feels like.

Image
Protecting a supply column, I ran into a He-111. He didn't like that so much.

Image
His Stuka buddy didn't like it much either.

Image
Kildren pays for all the mean things he said about my darling P-40.

Image
Twice.

Image
What flaming someone with really high ping looks like.

Image
A bit of formation flying with Kildren who still has nothing nice to say about the P-40 to this day. What a shitcunt.

Image
It's tough being a P-40 lover in a world where most of your enemies outclass you in almost every way, but she's still my favourite ride in the sim, and while success can be hard to get in it, it's that much sweeter when you do.

In the same vein, the 109E-7 is my favorite thus far.

Hi

5000m above Stalingrad... a poor and lonely Pe2 crossing my way. I like flying the dark side in BOS.

Starting to get active in BoS as well, after having been a curiosity on my HD for some time

Back on BoS after a layoff of like a month. Claimed three kills in two sorties, not bad.

Flew a shitload of this today. Shot a few idiot AI Fw190s in the P-40 actually. But, and I know it's the pleb's choice, however the Yak-1 is still my favorite fighter in the sim at the moment. I refuse to touch a 109 on principle, and I'm shockingly poor at flying the 190, even though I adore it as an aircraft.

That said, been spending most of my time in the Sturmovik anyway. Reminds me a lot of the A10, just with a piston engine and a bit less BRRRT.
