Looking at the TAW ACG squad page it currently looks a bit of a mess, with all sorts of tags and variations on tags!

JG52_Gummi
ACG_Falcon
ACG_Vanguard
Kai_Lae
7./JG26_Shadepiece
ACGltluke
kildren
ACG_Mesa
Jaydog
1./JG26Double_Standards
7./JG26_Smokejumper

As everyone comes from different squadrons in ACG wouldn't it be better if it was just ACG_?
That tag would also be red/blue neutral.

Kinda misunderstood the squadron tag thing and registered as ACG_Niwsters, but I agree that people wouldn't recognize us as clearly if we used our separate squadron tags. I'll have no problems changing though, so once I'm sure what we decided I'll stick with that.

Feel free to add me to the squadron. Also, when and where do people go online? Feeling kinda lost in the multiplayer scene of BoS, so would love an introduction in time before TAW starts again.

I would personally prefer everyone to use one tag, so that we are more easily identifiable as one group however, the issue is that as we start representing our group in this sim we also need to represent our own individual squadrons. There are many folks who do not know about ACG or Cliffs, and therefore do not recognize that our individual squadron tags are already in use.

For example, there is already a squad using the second Gruppe markings for JG26 (II./JG26). We need to properly represent the squadron tags which we use for campaign. This way we can avoid any conflicts with other squads who are trying to use the tags we've already cemented in the Cliffs community.

I will see if Dickie has a particular preference, but I can guess he'll want everyone in their proper squadron tags.

Gents,

I have gotten word from the top. To avoid any future misunderstandings with other groups looking to use the tags we currently use we will be using our individual squadron tags.

It is not uniform for the benefit of TAW, or other servers which, I admit, is unfortunate. However, this is the proper way to conduct ourselves. When flying we should absolutely be using our proper squadron tags just as if we were in campaign.

Please, everyone ensure to register with your proper squadron tags on both your normal account, and you should do the same for TAW.

ACG/JG26 is an OPEN group, so anyone from any squadron is welcome, but I will want those of you who want to join to have your proper tags.
