How to see the instrument panel in the I-16?

Hey guys,

Does anyone have any tips on how to see the panel in the Ishak? I found a video tutorial about setting up a snap view in BoS, but I can't make it work, and I don't seem to be able to get Track IR to see me when I duck my head down. I sort of end up staring up at my virtual ass, if the game modelled my ass. And yes, those of you who fly with me might say the whole head up my ass thing explains my situational awareness generally.

I duck slightly. Perhaps your TIR profile could use adjustment?

^ this pretty much i sort of duck my head and look down slightly and see the most critical stuff

Learn to fly without it is my best guess.

I can't remember the default, but there is a hot key just for this. I found it by mistake once, it lowers your vision so you can see the whole dash, like a snap to sights thing. I can't get the game working at the moment, so can't be of more help. But at least you now know your quest has a grail to be found

You can’t get it working? What happens?

You have to set it up WITHOUT TIR first. So, load the game without TIR enabled, setup your fixed view and then reload your game with TIR on and it should work.

I can't remember the default, but there is a hot key just for this.

Default key for this is ". del" on numeric keypad.

Thanks so much guys for the help. Now I can stop using the damn trees to judge altitude, and even see what direction I'm going.
