DCS mods and JSGME

Post by Random » Sat Jul 25, 2015 1:29 pm

JSGME is a mod manager which allows quick and easy activation and deactivation of mods for various games. It's great for games like DCS where many multiplayer servers have integrity checks. JSGME lets you return to a stock install in seconds. I strongly recommend installing JSGME.

DCS has a huge range of mods but I've put togeather a really basic pack with the english cockpits for various russian aircraft, my labels mod which is a fairly balanced way of addressing the visibility issues in DCS and a couple of unit packs which I like using in my missions. These should all work with any other mods you wish to use.

My "light" modpack is available here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ybld0 ... odpack.zip

Nice work on that video! :lux: Further useful when updating DCS on the few occasions- you just can deactivate your mods, update and enable them again without having to move files back to place.

Basically the same content in written form. And with the tips of Nr 7 you can make your mods "JSGME ready" if not already done by the creator.

Yup, JSGME's pretty useful. Used it before with 1946 and Silent Hunter. Cheers for the mod pack btw. Downloading it right now.

Another thumbs up for JSGME :nice: . An absolute must for any dcs user. It allows me to quickly swap scenery textures and install mods that don't permanently change dcs. It also tells you when mods conflict.
