FaceTrackNoIR

Post by Aristo » Mon Jan 16, 2017 9:31 am

Hi guys,

so I recently took the plunge and bought the Dora. I only have one issue. I cant get my head tracking to turn on. I use FaceTrackNoIR so was wondering if anyone else uses this program and how they got it setup with DCS?

Thanks :salute:

Have a look on the ED forums fella, I seem to remember there being a thread about it not long ago.

Wrong.
To make it run with FaceTrackNoIR you need a specific DLL.
You can find it somewhere on the ED forums.
But i recommend to just use OpenTrack. It is another free Head-tracking Software that already includes all DDL you could possibly think of.

I had been telling Hitler for over a year, since my first flight in an Me-262, that only Focke Wulf Fw-190 fighter production should continue in conventional aircraft, to discontinue the Me-109, which was outdated, and to focus on building a massive jet-fighter force. - Galland
Any idiot could fly a Spitfire, but it took a lot of training to fly a 109. - Gerald Stapleton

Thanks for all the help guys. Managed to find the specific DLL file Jockel. If anyone needs to know in future its a 64 bit headtracker.dll and goes in the bin file of DCS install. :salute:
