The Eagle wiki page for the A-10 has a lot of info on it, the other airframes not so much

A-10
http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/DCS_A-10C_ ... _Documents

But on the main wiki page there is some docs that coud help with the mission editor and stuff that will be the same for the other models.

I figured out what my problem was, I had only changed the keys in the sim mode but the game used the A10 real settings. Now everything is fine. Time to learn the plane in every detail. Merry christmas, happy new year and happy easter in that sense. I will be back

I've updated the OP, included Vlerkies video (thanks Vlerkies) and have uploaded my control file for download. I think the way DCS works is it recognises specific controls, so it will only be of use to those with a Warthog stick. I also have saitek pedals and an extra quadrant, if you don't have these you wont see the shortcuts for those listed so will need to set them up yourself.

If anyone has the time, they could also upload their control setup for others to use - might save people a lot of time.

Good afternoon gentleman

It's been a while since I've been around due to lots of real life stuff but I thought I'd take a look at DCS to see what all the fuss is about :)

I read through the topic and I've started trying to assign functions but I can't get the game to recognise the hat switches on my Saitek X52 PRO I just wondered if anyone else used this stick and had managed to sort it out. I'd like to put the aileron and elevator trim on one of the hat switches.

When configuring the options I have 2 key binding sets for P51D that I can edit to configure the controls: P51D game and P51D sim
Do I need to edit both key binding sets or just one of them?
