Start a little late, got to 6000 over boulogne and met schwarm 1. after 20 minutes I encountered 2 spits. I followed the second one, but she turned too much. Shortly number one was on my 6 so I had to go down 1000 meters and he lost me.
Landed on marquis west because east was overcrowded and there were too much broken A/C.

I flew as Katschmarek of Leutnant Wiesel. All in all this was a successfull mission. We made it a hard time for the Hurricanes to attack our bombers.
Without Spitfires showing up in time they were not able to effectivly intercept our bomber force. It was not until our KG guys droppred their load over the airfields, that
we were engaged by Spitfires. Some of the Spitfires followed me and Leutnant Wiesel and I had to dive away. When I was near the French coast I was informed by Wiesel that he was followed by a single Spitfire all the way back to France. Over the French point we rejoined together with Trautloft and chased this Spitfire. We were pressing the Brit down to the water with rolling attacks, not giving him any second to breath. It was finally a burst from my guns that blew up his water cooler and perforated his radiator. It crashed into the water a few hunred metres off the French coast.

Status: RTB.
Victory Claims:
Damaged a Spitfire in a dogfight over St. Mary's bay at 5,5km.
No confirmed kills.
Report:
11 left for Britain, 11 returned! And not only that. 5./JG26 gave an enemy Spitfire squadron a bloody nose in a dynamic dogfight high over St. Mary's Bay, destroying at least 2 and damaging many more. This must be one of our most successful achievements since the beginning of Fall Gelb. During the last missions we often found ourselves in a bad position and greatly outnumbered and we lost many planes as a result. This time however the Schwarms of the 5th Staffel stuck close together and managed to get a very favorable position in relation to our bombers and the attackers.
I'm very proud of what my men achieved this evening and this great success will hopefully embolden High Command to authorize more aggressive raids deeper into Britain.

Report: After taking off from Marquise East and forming up, we were on our way to meet the bombers. When our bombers were attacked over England, we were in a very good position to defend them. I managed to bounce a Hurricane, fire some rounds, but seemed to have scored no hits. Several minutes later, I dove on another Hurricane with much the same result. Not long after I disengaged to retain my energy, I saw a member of my staffel collide with a Hurricane... poor bastards... at this point, the bombers were already on their way back to France, and I went back once I saw the British planes start to relent. There were some call outs that Hurricanes and Spitfires chased some 109s back to French Point, but after circling the area for a while I didn't see any contacts. I entered the pattern at Marquise and much to my surprise, a very large number of Luftwaffe pilots managed to make it home safely... I was relieved... we live to fight another day.

Sorry about the late report.
We had a little accident with Boyzee but we recovered quickly. We asumed high cover of the bombers formation and engaged enemies over the coast of england. We fought for a while then we disengaged, due to high amount of enemies. We then escorted one of the wounded bombers back to france and that was it. We landed successfully.
