Joined with the 2nd Schwarm, and formed up to escort the Stuka's into Rye. As the bombers approached their targets, we saw the Hurri's diving in for them. Hypoxia was lead gun, followed by Swiss, and then I. We rolled into the bomber formation, Hypoxia called out he got some hits on a Hurri, Swiss covered his six, and I had a chance to fire on a Hurri, but no hits. But it did force him to break off his attack.

As we circled around for a second run, a high flying Hurri came down, saw him on my six, and had to dive away. Headed out over the Channel after losing him, and regained altitude. Went back to the furball over the bombers, and picked up another Hurri on six, after passing through the bombers. Got hit a couple of times, and had a coolant leak. Headed back out from English point <---DUNGENESS to fly home. Gained a little altitude before the engine went out. Feathered the prop, and managed to glide to about 1 mile from French point <---CAP GRIS NEZ, and then had to ditch. Was rescued by friendly ASR.

Confusion over take off, EprG 210 were early and leaving the target area before we got there. Thinking the area was clear we strafed Manston doing some serious damage, but got jumped by Spits and Hurri's on the way out and being low and slow the end was inevitable.

New planes next week, ready to f*** the RAF up and get our revenge.

-Manston baySpitfire-Yes (Atreides, Boyzee)
We assumed position over the left wing of bombers and followed them over deal. Nothing much happened, so we circled there a bit, then we were called by 6. over to Manston. On our way there we engaged in very intensive high fight with a lot of spitfires. This fight lasted for quite a while. I could not get a shot so i was just cautious. I saw Atreides shoot one spitfire, which right after that lost a wing! Then it subsided so we moved over Manston. There the fight raged a little bit lower. We circled and stayed high. After some time, 110 boys came and tried to work their magic. We went over to the sea to reassemble when we received distress call from the 110's. We dove on them but alas, to late. I scored some hits and then after some time i got to a six of a spit with damaged engine gliding home. So i raked him with cannon and he crashed into water. Then we reformed and returned home safely. What a nice mission!

Great first mission for me in the 6./JG26!! :D After losing my squadron at Dover after first contact and probably getting my tank shot back then I moved on to Manston and Ramsgate. Circling high over the area I saw the engine of an enemy cutting out after being attacked by a 109. After all I could make it back to the homebase and finish my first mission alive.

The second swarm flew ahead of the bombers to look for the enemy. We spotted them over Dover. We had the height advantage and turned into them and dove down. Right then I made a very silly mistake in letting my engine overrev. I had oil all over the wind shield immediately. so the only thing left for me to do was turn for home.
I was high enough to sail into Pihen for an emergency landing.
