Mission Date: 15-08-1940

Name: Biggles
Rank: Hauptgefreiter
Unit: 6./ZG76
Aircraft: Bf110
Markings: D
Aerodrome: Calais

We took off promptly from Marc de Calais to escort stukas to Hawkinge. Unfortunately we took off to early due to false times in out flight briefing and had to land again for fear of running out of fuel, not before buzzing the 109s at Marquise. After taking off and heading to England I suffered Irreparable engine problems and had to exit the fight. A Damn nuisance!

Pilot: Ok if not a bit miffed
A/C: Broken crank shaft that had torn the Port engine apart.
