Lead 2. Schwarm again. Dub unfortunately had technical problems and had to abort without getting off the ground. Stary had engine trouble just as we reached the English coast north of Manston and had to return to base. Just Zero and I left, we teamed up with 3. Schwarm 's Flyby and Krass briefly patrolling over Manston while 6./Zg76 did there work, but we were seperated from them when RAF fighters appeared. I got behind a Hurricane, and got hits on him, he broke trailing coolant. I made another attack on this aircraft, but missed and Zero took over. The Hurri dove away and we both broke off, not wanting to give away our altitude.
With the sky clear of hostile aircraft, we flew towards Eastchurch. There I lost contact with Zero, but fortunately he formed on some 110's and RTB'ed safely.
I returned to base together with 1. Schwarm of 5. Staffel.

After a beautiful takeoff, we headed to meet our bombers and make our way to England.

When we saw contacts, there was quite a bit of bobbing and weaving. I got separated from my flight right after witnessing the Staffelkapitan score a kill which I will confirm.

I proceeded to engage a Hurricane who was pummeling a fellow 109 and scored critical hits on him. He dove and I followed him to finish his flight. Villiers will confirm this kill Thaine here: Is this a victory you want to claim? Please put it in a table or plainly visible in such case..

After trying to reunite with my staffel, I began making my way to the rally point and gaining altitude. In the search, a Tommie snuck up on me and perforated my radiator. I was able to out run him, but my engine couldn't take any more. I had to make an emergency landing outside of Sandwich... This report comes from my cell by carrier pigeon.

My last day flying for the 5. were not one of the best. A last minute change in plans made us cover the 110's instead of helping our bombers, we though nothing of it and after a lot of ground issues we all got up, but now we were so delayed we had missed the 110's so we would meet them over Manston.

When we got to Manston we spotted enemies and started combat, not sure what went down but suddenlt there were only 109's and i am quite sure we won that fight. trying to get back with my swarm we spent alot of time just cirkeling over, when for some reason we get split up again. We decide to head for the bombers as we never saw the 110's but we had done our duty and they theirs. Before i reach the bombers i spot something that looks like a 109 in trouble and i go down to help him, after some fighting i do get som hits in but have lost a huge amount of energi so i decide to pull out of the fight. Just now i see 2 hurris coming for my i try my best to dogde them and dive to get away i get to around 600 when i run out of altitude and stop the dive 10m over the ground, i punish the engine all i can and call for help becouse i can see them behind me and it seams like they dont get any further away. At some point they left me alone nad i started to climb again, then we were called RTB and i started the flight home. Nothing happened on the way home but it turned out the fact we were not helping the bombers made them lose almost all... hopefully that mistake will not happen again.
