Can I install Swift and download the mods to a external harddrive and play it that way?

Yep I guess you could.... but it might take a while for your game to load into memory. It depends on your interface path to the disks that matters... if you are using Bluetooth for example.... definately not a good idea... firewire/USB link is not a good idea either for similar reasons... if you have a direct SATA link you will probably not notice too much difference.

I want to bump this thread for the newcomers to ARMA.

TeamOneTactical provide coop and pvp ARMA sessions with appr. 30-40 players each week, altenating between friday and saturday, from 1930 uk time. The have quite an extensive mod-pack that needs to be installed with Swifty.

Swifty is a ease to use tool. For problems just ask around here or directly at their forum: TeamOneTactical.com

Sadly, I wasn't able to attend any sessions lately due to resetting my whole PC and vacation. But I did attend quite some of their sessions and it was always fun. They provide an environment not unsimilar to the ACG campaign.

There's no commitment to attend the sessions.

Sounds the kind of thing I like to do. That's why I like PR so much.
