Do we want to use TFR for all the immersion?

Don't know about TFR. Want to keep the setup as easy as possible.

Some screenshots from a playtest of the ALiVE mission I did with Vanguard and Kildren:
Image
A Panzer IV and dismounted crew of a second one wandering into a town on the front line. Kildren's on the right modelling his weird mish-mash of gear.

Image
Kildren taking a shortcut back to base.

Image
Vanguard not feeling so good after a run-in with Soviet infantry just outside Staszow.

If it hasn't already been done I'd like to make a request to not use the terrible fatigue system that ArmA uses. Its absolute garbage your PT lacking soldier can barely run for 15 seconds with out being out of breath and swaying his gun right to left like hes in the middle of a 8.5 magnitude earthquake.

I disabled the lame fatigue system entirely.

More screenshots from another playtest:

Image
In the outskirts of Staszow, a SU-85 turns Kildren into a fine paste while I hide in a nearby house like a little bitch.

Image
Luke arrives with a Tiger and we head out for revenge.

Image
Lighting the first one up.

Image
He's really regretting that decision now.

Image
His mate tries to ambush us from concealment, but our 88 cares not for his trees.

Image
Second one down.

Image
A lend-lease half-track rushes towards Staszow...

Image
But nothing can outrun an 88.

Image
Rowns joins us in a Panther and we roll into a nearby village, where we're set upon by a platoon of T-34's. rip Rowns...

Image
I put a hit on one of them. The surviving crew member makes the smart move and gets the hell out of dodge before a follow-up shot comes.

Image
Image
Four T-34's down.

Image
After eliminating a Soviet infantry unit with a combined effort between Luke's Tiger and my Fw-190, Luke pays respect to a fallen Soviet soldier.

Image
Luke and I advance on a house where a downed German pilot is being held. There were no survivors.

The mission's juuuuuust about where I want it. Only a little more tinkering to do.

That does indeed look fun. I may have to reinstall Arma.

Just bought Arma from Black Friday discount, mainly to try this mod! I may give it a go in a while (when I'm back from training course that is.)

Very nice thing! :nice:
