WWII Co-op
Hi guys,
I've suddenly found myself with a few weeks worth of free time and I'm kicking around the idea of doing some co-operative missions using the Iron Front mod (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... Iron+Front). My main interest at the moment is driving around in glorious Krupp Stahl tanks and blowing shit up because I'm a disgraceful Wehraboo, so if anyone's interested in getting their kraut on and doing some combined arms WWII stuff, go ahead and express your interest here.

Re: WWII Co-op
It looks like it gets updates frequently, I'd be interested in giving it another go.
Last two times I tried IF, it was extremely buggy and had severe frame rate issues... But that was about a year ago. I also tried it 2 years ago to find out you have to buy their stand alone game, which doesn't actually work if it's not tied to your ArmA installation.
If I remember correctly, this lite version doesn't require the stand alone game.... But someone is going to have to create missions. Because I'm concerned about frame rates, whoever wants to build missions should use ALiVE.
I can host a server, but my internet connection can't handle a whole lot of players.

Re: WWII Co-op
Mine can and I can put up a server and give access using Team Viewer. So if required it is there.
Re: WWII Co-op
I'll definitely take you up on that if I can get it working, Dickie. Thank you.
As for ALiVE, I've been tinkering with it, and it's a tricky sonofabitch. Infantry groups work fine, but there's an issue with the way Iron Front has its armoured units structured in terms of groups that ALiVE just doesn't seem to know what to do with. I'll keep messing with it though.

Re: WWII Co-op
Update on the ALiVE mission: It is now spawning armoured units in addition to infantry. To be honest, I have no idea HOW I fixed it. I just know that somehow, I did. So I'll take it. Still a bit of tinkering to be done, but we can probably start thinking about throwing a server up in the next couple of days.
