You will need to download Uplay from Ubisoft and register the key provided and your ready to download the full game. This is the Gold version as well with a few extra subs and ships.

Once I track down my disc I'll get it reinstalled. Looking forward to it - I love SH3 but it's getting a bit ancient and its low screen resolution completely borks up my dual monitor setup. Hopefully SH5 with the mods you posted will allow me to get my U-boat fix again.

It's been a few years since I played SH3. SH5 always looked awesome but I was never in a good enough spot in RL (time, good enough computer, etc.) to play. I may have to give it a whirl here soon though

I lost my CDROM for SH5, so I just bought it for 9.99 as a download from STEAM. My time is worth something too!

Downloaded and is automatically the correct official game patch (v1.2 methinks). Runs nice and looks great. The interface seems quite a bit more user friendly and easy compared what I remember in the earlier SH4. After I get all the realism and graphics patches installed, it should be even better.

So I took her out for a spin out of the docks and it was fun to get used to driving it again. Ran a practice mission and was way way too easy to select a target and fire and kill. Im sure its harder with tin cans about, but still I can see why Admiral Thaine wants me to get the realism patches. Else its like flying on easy level.

Oh, there's some nice mods that I played with.

As mentioned before, these are a must for me:

-No map updates
-Manual T.V.Re (Torpedo-Vorhalt-Rechner/TDC)
-Real Navigation and automation-scripts.

I'll try to get a short concise and stable list together.
Fractal Design Define R6 / Gigabyte Z390 AORUS MASTER / Intel i9-9900K / 32 GB RAM / NVIDIA GeForce GTX2080Ti / WD Black SN750 / Corsair Hydro H100i RGB Platinum / Corsair RM850x / WINDOWS 10 / LG 42LE5300 / TrackIR / HP Reverb G2 / Saitek AV8R-MK3 / Saitek ProFlight Throttle Quadrant / Saitek ProFlight Rudder Paddels / Saitek ProFlight Cessna Trim Wheel

Gott in Himmel! I'd completely forgotten the Silent Hunter series -those were excellent games. I may well have to dust off my copy of SH5 (if I can find the damned thing).
