Me109-K4 low electrical power causes blinking internal light

Post by Bubi » Wed Dec 31, 2014 9:24 am

The cockpit internal lighting (landing indicators, cannon enabled, instruments, Revi opicical sight, etc) will start to dim and blink increasingly as the battery drains. This is due to any of the following:

- the generator being off, thus running on battery alone
- gen on, but low RPMs
- too many electrical devices on
- too long on ramp start (request ground crew to hook up external power, and remember to have the remove it when done)
- combat damage

Don't know if this is accurate or a bug.

Note that if you use the Kneeboard, it will shut off the generator. The Kneeboard needs to be used again to be able to toggle the generator back on. It's a known bug. So don't use the Kneeboard.
