First Su-27 Squad flight

Post by Schmuck » Thu Oct 30, 2014 2:23 am

Video of the beginnings of what will become the new Su-27 Squadron to take part in Redeyes campaign. With little to know training in flight and combat, we put up a pretty good fight
From time to time you may see my head movements whip back. I was checking my phone :D

NOTE: I hadn't messed around with the Audio so I'm like a whisper and Toxic is fairly loud. I got it all figured out now. More footage to come!

Jesus my voice is loud!

That was a lot of fun for such a quick mission though, I will post some screenshots very soon.

Great stuff Schmuck, I must admit I'd like to learn to fly the Su-27, I've had a little mess with it but not much.

Fun vid, enjoyed seeing the other side of that sortie. That 27 does look pretty, I have to admit...

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.

Thanks everyone! I'll be sure to put more of these up. Sabre, if you're interested let me know. I'll try to get some form a training, and training dates set up for the future!

No matter how much I fly the modern jets in DCS, still nothing beats flying the ole Hawker Hurricane in our campaigns :)
