New to ACG
Hey,
I am new to the Air Combat Group, in the past, I've had some experiences with games like Combat Flight Simulator 3 which I played for hours on end and a little off IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 but not that intensively, I lost track of CFS3 trough the years and ended up with Operation Flashpoint cold war crisis and the entire Arma series but I still have a deep love and desire for world war 2 planes.
My most favorite planes in that era are the Supermarine Spitfire and the Mustang and the Messerschmitt, currently, I've picked up IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad but I missed the western theater a little and I ended up with Cliffs Over Dover but I wasn't able to start it at all, investigating why CoD was not working led me to this unit so I joined TeamSpeak.
Currently, I am trying to figure out why my push to talk is not working on TS and if that's don I will most likely join up on a training session, I have been flying on flight sims but never got into depth "e.g. ultra realism settings" so taking off, landing and even engaging, turning will be a task for me.
Best of regards
Kevin

Re: New to ACG
hi kevin, welcome! Don't worry, we'll get your technical hold-ups sorted out. The full fidelity aircraft in the sims we play are certainly a rewarding experience. You've come to the right place!

Re: New to ACG
Tonight is a good night to resolve this because we will have a lot of guys on training, and you are welcome to join.
As Head Arsehole Fearless Emperor of ACG (unofficial title) I would prefer that you get into the Bf109 though, we tend to get fewer applicants and this helps us stay balanced. You will have fun and get an experience in any crew here anyway. Welcome aboard.

Wait, that's not your official title?Dickie wrote:As Head Arsehole Fearless Emperor of ACG (unofficial title)

Re: New to ACG
As far as I understood it, the official title is only the first two words.
