You can get an i5 cpu, a decent gfx carf such as a 1080gtx and 16GB of memory. Get a decent joystick and if the budget stretches, a pair of pedals.

Having said that, people here probably have lesser spec rigs and do just fine.
Cheers,

If is the States, you can probably just buy a gaming computer off the floor at Best Buy that is more than suitable for the sims we fly at about $800-900, a cheap Joystick like the Logitech 3D Extreme Pro for about $35 to start out with. Then order TrackIR for about $150 from Amazon and you're well on the way. Best of all, if you don't want to spend that kind of money all at once at Best Buy, you can apply for a Best Buy card and play it off in one year interest free. Good luck in what ever you decide to do. :salute:

I'd like to add that a tv is more than adequate for a screen, possibly even more desireable than a monitor.

There are cheaper alternatives to trackir if you are willing to do some work.

Jump on our TS when you have a moment and we'll help you put together a computer and other gear you need to fly.
There's lots of variables including budget and what exactly are you looking for but we'll help you make it happen.
