A-4 MOD

Post by Miki » Mon Dec 31, 2018 6:52 pm

Hi guys.

For those who aren't aware, there is a freeware mod for DCS, that give you access to a plane :

https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=224989

Remember that DCS is free to play, having the TF-51 (P-51 trainer), and the SU-25T (too bad we don't have a free A version...).

About the A-4, there are some limitations, the main one being the lack of radio. And without radio, you won't receive any air picture, you won't be able to refuel, in few words, you are losing a large part of what DCS can bring...

Anyway, I think that's a good introduction to this fantastic sim.

And I reply myself, with this mod for the mod :

A must have. It will bring a very basic RWR to the A-4, in fact two sounds, one if you're being tracked, one if you're shot at.

I've had plenty of fun with the Scooter. SEAD missions against SA-2's. Definitely need the RWR mod to be effective. For the price, the A-4E-C is incredible.
