I'm getting this exact same issue. I have already disabled all my other network adaptors.

Strange thing is, I can get into some servers after waiting on the load screen for 10min or so, other servers I can't get in to at all.

During our training night I could get into ATAG after an extremely long load, but DangerDogz would give me "serverfailedauthentication" almost immediately.

Also, if my load screen timesout, I have to restart the whole game before I can try any connection again. After one timeout, all server connections don't even start without restarting the game first

Seems to be fixed for me by browsing to the Steam install dir and setting compatibility mode to win7 and run as admin on Launcher64.exe.

Found this, ? Compatibility. Used to work only windows 7 but mine is unticked now so I guess this is updated. Might be worth a look if not already thought about.
Toast you beautiful man! This fixed my game freezing when creating and requiring an Alt + Tab to load! I assume this shall also fix the server not loading issues! :B: :D

Interesting that limiting the affinity of the sim--the number of CPU cores it may use--seemed to cure the issue too. So it seems to be related to how the game / windows 7 utilises cores.

Guys, are those experiencing this issue running manually overclocked CPUs? I believe this issue is related to running a manual overclock--as opposed to letting Intel Turbo Boost overclock the CPU autonomously.
