IL-2 1946 Event!

She's getting on in the years now, but we still like to jump in the saddle occasionally.

We haven't done anything with the server yet I've still been hosting.

Just an update regarding the IL2 1946 event I'm currently working on a dynamic map. The player side will have a certain selection of aircraft to choose to fly the other side will be AI. There will be a certain number of bases each side of the map depending on how big the map is and each side will have ground troops and vehicles that will require support and depending on how successful or unsuccessful they are the front lines will move accordingly towards your base or the enemies. To win ground forces need to capture either the key objectives or all enemy air bases.

All resources including planes tanks vehicles troops ect, will spawn from a Pool the number of resources from this pool will diminish when the enemy captures areas of the map for instance you may have B25 available for a mission and if 3 get shot down you have to wait for the pool to spawn them in again, the current ratio is 2 planes per mission I do have the ability to change this.

The first map I will be testing this on will be tobruk we will be flying RAF and there shall be Hurricanes, Spitfires, P40s, Blenheims Beaufighters and wellingtons

Remember there's always the possibility this will not work lol

Thanks Dickie, I've still been a bit manic at the moment so this is going to be a massive help!
Wolf, we can talk about this tonight and if you teach me your magic ways I can set some things up
