BMS installation help needed.
With the help of Geordie I managed to get the BMS mod installed successfully. However after updating my computer to Windows 10 the game wouldn't even start so I uninstalled it.
Now I am unable to get the mod installed for unknown reasons. I have tried a few tutorials but they were all outdated and for some odd reason the majority of them were in Chinese. Odd
So i'm here to request some help. A link to an up-to-date tutorial or your own directions would be much appreciated

Re: BMS installation help needed.
Let's see if a quick answer helps already:
First get this one installed:
https://www.bmsforum.org/forum/showthre ... -Installer
and keep the setup folder (I believe it's what you get after unzipping the torrented file; or just look for the folder with the setup.exe)
Then get this one:
https://www.bmsforum.org/forum/showthre ... -Installer
and run the exe into the setup folder you kept from the install before. Then it should automatically run the U2 setup afterwards.

Re: BMS installation help needed.
I fixed my bad fps problem by creating an even larger and game breaking problem!
Figuring that a fresh install is good to have, I get the following error message when trying to reinstall Falcon BMS:
I can't find that registry entry and the files are of course gone since its supposed to be a fresh install. I uninstalled manually since there was no uninstaller whatsoever. I also used the BMS REGISTRY CLEANER which I now think is the problem.
Basically how I see it is I need to delete a reg entry that doesn't exist or conjure up the files that the installer is refusing to install.
AND ITS FIXED:
I just created an empty folder with the name in the error message and the setup knows what's up now! Manual removal is a bad thing with falcon, hope somebody else will avoid it now.

Re: BMS installation help needed.
Jammy, installing order should be:
Falcon 4.0 (via Stream, old copy,..)
Falcon bms 4.33u1
Falcon bms update to 4.33u2
Use falcons Explaination on how to Execute.
A little more detailed Description of "unknown reasons" would be good, what does the machine do, the screen show,...
Sokka, always use "system Control" - "install or uninstall Programms" if no uninstaller is available. Try that, just in case, maybe there are some odd files left..
Another is to Check your registry for more bms entries, there might be more entries in other subfolders. Also uninstall Falcon 4.0.
Last Option is to install it to Another hard drive, d instead of c, if possible.

Re: BMS installation help needed.
I have the exact same problem as Sokka has. Different from last time I installed is that I slapped my Falcon 4.0 install into my E drive this time around, which could be why my install is confused (path is C drive as you can see in Sokkas image). Have tried and failed to change it's path.
Where did you put the renamed folder Sokka?

Re: BMS installation help needed.
It was in the same place as before, since it the nonexistent reg entry points there. Once you get the setup actually running you can uninstall it properly and then install it again fresh where you want it.

I got it up and running again
